Tina Mion was featured as part of a program on the arts in Arizona. She talks about her some of her newest works (“Vanishings”) as well as her Ladies First series and other paintings. Click here to see the video segment.

PBS Special [2005–current, repeat showings]
PBS / KCET produced a half-hour special on La Posada, one of Arizona’s most famous buildings. La Posada was purchased and restored by Tina Mion and her husband. It is currently a hotel and museum, as well as their home and Tina’s studio. The program includes many of Tina’s paintings and Tina working in her studio. The DVD is also available through La Posada.

Check the May issue of Arizona Highways to see a full-page image of Mion’s painting “The Last Harvey Girl.” The original painting will be exhibited at the Smithsonian National Portrait gallery later this year.
