Abraham Lincoln was 6'4" (our tallest president) and the first to
wear a beard. He was an unpretentious and kindhearted man who liked a
good joke. He suffered severe bouts of mental depression, and he loved
Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “The Raven.”
He held the nation together during its most difficult
time.
