Adrift Oil on Linen 64 x 48" The elephant is a metaphor for my ability to
paint; a wonderful but heavy and inescapable companion. I am also
the clown riding backwards, on a current of uncertain fortune, not
quite in control, and trying hard to ignore the elephant. I am sure
many people have their own elephant, the unspoken they cannot escape. |
